Time for a very reluctant goodbye.

With a heavy heart we have decided to close our doors after Sunday 21st September 2025.

We want to thank each and every person that has visited us over the past year and a half.

I would highly recommend for anyone living in or visiting North Berwick! The food is exquisite and the service even better. You can’t go past this place for value… and the haggis bon bons are to die for!

After hearing about this place I thought I’d visit The Puffin today after been Birding at The Scottish Seabird Centre. I only went for a drink at the back at the bar and thought the place was really nice. Nice friendly staff too I will definitely come back and maybe have a meal here sometime.

Sitting in another restaurant and thought , it wasn’t fitting for our anniversary celebration .

A few weeks ago we had fantastic dinner at The Puffin in North Berwick over our Easter hols. Great food, service and staff really helpful. Delicious dessert too. Lovely atmosphere. We spend so much time in NB its great to have another choice.Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back.

Brilliant menu, staff, service, atmosphere and chef. Food was superb and was on Main Street in town – what more can I say. Would fully recommend.

Visited The Puffin on numerous occasions during are Christmas holiday in North Berwick, really couldn’t fault this place! Beautifully cooked homemade food especially the Cullen Skink which was to die for. One of the best Fish and Chips I’ve ever had also. Superb service and lovely cocktails. Would highly recommend.

Phenomenal meal, great for families of all ages, the scallops are one of the very best had in the UK, the steak was perfect and the seafood was sublime! Friendly atmosphere and we were made to feel welcome throughout with attentive yet discrete service, we will be back!
